What are the steps to reserve a spot for placenta encapsulation?
1. Go to the Services tab (or click button to the right)
2. Click "Book Now" under "Placenta Encapsulation"
3. Select a date and time just to reserve your spot
*Please select your due date or next closest date
4. Fill out the details
5. Select "Book Now"
6. Please choose payment method of "Paypal" or "Offline Payment"*
7. Click "Place Order & Pay"

*If you would like to pay with card, choose "offline payment" and text 210-920-8863 that you booked placenta encapsulation services and would like to pay with card. An invoice will be sent with a different platform
What to do when baby is born:
Call or text 210-920-8863 and let the midwife know your baby was born. Ideally after the golden hour.
What if my baby is born before or after my due date?
That is ok and perfectly normal!

What do I do with the placenta?
For Home Birth:
Put placenta into 2 ziploc bags (no absorbent pads or gauze)
Put mother's name on outer ziploc bag
Place bagged placenta in refrigerator

For Hospital or Birth Center Birth:
Put placenta into 2 ziploc bags (no absorbent pads or gauze)
Put mother's name on outer ziploc bag
Fill 1-2 gallon ziploc bags with ice
Place bagged placenta and bagged ice into a cooler
When will my placenta get picked up?
The midwife or courier will arrange pick up between 1 and 8 hours after being notified of the birth
I still want placenta encapsulation and I just had my baby today, can I still get it done?
Yes!
Please follow the steps to reserve the next available spot and pay with PayPal or click offline payment and call the midwife and let her know you just had the baby, you followed the steps and reserved your spot, but would like to pay in person
